The Department of Educational Administration is seeking a talented writer for a special project. Our faculty publish research on community colleges in respected journals across the country. As part of our efforts to share their work with a broader audience, we’re seeking a writer to develop shorter (1,200-1,500 word) essays that summarize the findings in a format that would be appropriate for a general audience. The summaries could include comments from the researcher, etc.
The Educational Administration Department prepares P-12 and higher education leaders for a variety of leadership roles in school administration, on community college, university and college campuses, and in student affairs. We have a growing presence on social media (@NebraskaEDAD) and a dynamic, supportive faculty. This unpaid position will provide valuable writing, editing, and interviewing experience and could lead to other opportunities related to sharing the work of our faculty and students.
