The Rural Futures Institute (RFI) at the University of Nebraska is seeking a bold, creative University of Nebraska–Lincoln student designer willing to use their talents to benefit rural people and places throughout Nebraska and beyond.

Required Skills:
> Team player who is willing to take constructive feedback, but also advocate for their ideas
> Knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Suite
> Excellent attention to detail
> Ability to hit multiple deadlines a week
> Up-to-date understanding of current trends and tools
> Willingness to research and learn

Preferred Skills:
> Photography know-how
> Understanding of grammar and punctuation

Responsibilities:
> Embrace the RFI brand
> Keep RFI website up-to-date; add new content
> Create a variety of static and animated social media graphics
> Make printed signage and handouts
> Brand presentations for RFI leadership
> Add animations to videos
> Bring new ideas forward!

Through this paid ($11/hour), year-long internship, you will expand your leadership and professional skills as well as your comfort zone and network. We need a commitment of 10-20 hours per week for the fall 2018 and spring 2019 semesters. Hours are flexible based on your class schedule.
