The UNL Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources (IANR) News Service wishes to hire a part-time student photographer. Based on east campus, the IANR News Service writes and distributes stories to newspapers, radio, TV, magazines and websites across Nebraska, the region and the nation. This student photographer will work with the news team to take photos to accompany the news stories.
In addition, this student may take photos to illustrate a new IANR website and publication.
experience required:
Must be a student in the College of Journalism and Mass Communications or in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication.
Must have news experience (Daily Nebraskan and/or CoJMC classes).
Must be a self-starter and willing to coordinate effectively with IANR News team and IANR faculty and staff.
Preference will be given to juniors or seniors.
Interest in or knowledge of agriculture, natural resources or sciences desirable but not required.
