Job Description:
Senior Reporter who generates news stories and, gather, report, produce and deliver high quality news reports and investigations.
Job Responsibilities:
• Generate ideas for news stories
• Develop news contacts and sources
• Gather information for news stories
• Write and produce packages and other material for newscasts
• Live shots, standups and on-set pieces
• Perform tasks on tight deadlines
• Work with producers and editors
• Develop enterprise and investigative stories
• Update the web site
• Anchor opportunities for the right candidate

Experience Requirements:
• 2+ years reporting in a news environment
• Live field reporting
Qualifications Requirements:
• Four year degree in broadcast journalism or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to develop stories on tight deadlines
• Strong writer
• Ability to interact with sources and viewers
• Tenacity
• Experience in producing stories for the web
• Investigative background desirable
Education:
• Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism, Multi-Media Journalism or related filed.
