The Symposium addressed the latest theories and practices important to the development of intellectual property law through discussions with distinguished academics, jurists and leaders in the industry. This year’s Symposium featured three panels addressing the Supreme Court’s latest copyright and patent cases.

Following the hearing, Professor Sheppard attended a meeting at the USTPO where she commented on the Finance and Budget Report for the USPTO and other areas of the agency's function.
