Professor Stefanie Pearlman was named the chair-elect for the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) Social Responsibilities Special Interest Section.
The Social Responsibilities Special Interest Section (SR-SIS) of the Association of the AALL addresses issues of social change and social responsibility that are of concern to AALL members by sponsoring education programs at the Annual Meetings and through the introduction of resolutions. Three active standing committees: Law Library Services to Prisoners and the Standing Committee on Lesbian and Gay Issues, and Standing Committee on Disability Issues contribute to the work of the SIS.
