October 13-17
Join the law community in celebration. Rainbow ribbons for all Nebraska Law Allies are available to wear on Monday (10/13) at a table outside the library from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. along with Allies window clings for faculty and staff.
What does the rainbow ribbon mean? It means you believe everyone should be treated with dignity, courtesy, and respect, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. It's a starting point for a conversation, and a promise to encounter these issues respectfully and as a matter of personal relationships and empathy.
If you would like a ribbon but can't make it to the table, just ask an Allies officer (Kendra Haack, Taylor Brooks, Sarah Duchnak, Kelsey Deabler, Megan Theesen-Fenton, Katie Joseph, Neil De Leon, or Becca Chasek).
If you'd like to get updates from Allies & Advocates on other events, respond via e-mail and we'll add you to our mailing list… alliesandadvocates.wordpress.com.
