The Alternative Dispute Resolution organization hosts monthly Lunch and Learns to introduce students to topics related to alternative dispute resolution and facilitate opportunities for students to meet professionals in this area.
This month’s topic will be an introduction to Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) with guest speaker and alumna, Diane Amdor, AVP Facilitator and Board of Directors Member. AVP is an international organization that offers experiential workshops on conflict resolution in the community and inside correctional facilities. Volunteer hours with AVP are also eligible for pro bono hour certification. During the noon hour, students will learn more about AVP and experience part of a workshop.
