The Future of the Death Penalty in Nebraska

Sponsored by American Constitution Society and Student Innocence Project, the format of the event is a panel question and answer event, moderated by Professor Berger, but there will be plenty of time for questions from the audience too.

The panelists will evaluate issues of the current implementation and policies behind the death penalty and then project a future of the death penalty in Nebraska.

Panelists include Stacy Anderson, Executive Director for Nebraskans for Alternatives to the Dealth Penalty; Joe Nigro, Deputy Public Defender for the Lancaster County Public Defender's Office; and UNL's own, Dr. Richard Wiener, Professor of Law and Psychology for the Psychology Department and the College of Law.
