At these meetings, students across all years of law school are able to contribute thoughts and ideas on how the organization should act.
The Nebraska Innocence Project receives many letters from inmates looking for help with their convictions. It also works educational programs such as working on creating a continuing education seminar for police officers on proper interview techniques. 2Ls and 3Ls are able to receive cases from the Innocence Project to review so that the Innocence Project can determine the merits of the case. 2Ls and 3Ls who do this can list the time spent towards their pro bono certificates.
