African American Newspapers in the South
African American Newspapers in the South, 1870-1926 (on the Accessible Archives platform), offers a collection of African American newspapers published in the District of Columbia, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and West Virginia during the Reconstruction and Jim Crow eras. This is a Big Ten Academic Alliance consortia purchase using funds from the Collective Investment Program (CIP). A record for the collection has been added to the A-Z Databases list, and records for the individual titles will be added to the catalog in the near future.
