Senior Civil Engineering students at the University of Nebraska are looking for “real world” projects to work on for their Senior Capstone class. The projects students work on are typically projects in the early planning stages where no professional design work has been yet completed. The students can help by collecting data, coming up with interesting ideas, and providing early planning stage design drawings. The instructors only ask for an initial call to talk about the project, then three one-hour zoom meetings throughout the semester with the students. If you have a project opportunity you would like to explore, please contact George Hunt, Associate Professor of Practice, Dept. of Civil and Environmental Engineering, 402.554.4842 or ghunt2@unl.edu.
