As the new Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) emphasizes competitive grant programs to fund local projects, the National League of Cities is hosting grant writing bootcamps to support municipalities with <150,000 people.
The Local Infrastructure Hub will be hosting 30+ “bootcamps” over the next two years with the goal of helping small and mid-sized municipalities navigate the opportunities made available through the Bipartisan Infrastructure and Jobs Act. Towns and cities participating in these programs will receive support from National League of Cities to develop a robust federal grant application, including access to subject matter experts, individualized coaching sessions, office hours, and peer-to-peer learning, as well as tools including templates, example submissions, and white papers. There is no cost for municipalities to participate in this program. Deadline for application/registration is August 31st.
Enrollment Now Open for Technical Assistance Program to Help Small, Mid-Sized Cities and Towns Access Federal Infrastructure Dollars
Submitting strong applications for federal infrastructure money can be challenging for small and mid-sized cities, towns, and villages. To assist underserved local governments with populations of approximately 150,000 or less, the Local Infrastructure Hub is offering a series of bootcamps. The bootcamps are designed to help small and mid-sized local governments take advantage of the grant opportunities available through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
