Were you hoping to participate in a Research Experience for Undergraduates program this summer, but it was canceled due to COVID-19? There is an opportunity to participate in a virtual Math REU at Clemson University this summer in Algebra and Graph Theory.

COURAGE: Clemson Online Undergraduate Research on Algebra and Graphs Expanded is a virtual Math REU program being run by Professor Sean Sather-Wagstaff at Clemson University from Monday, June 22 to Friday, August 7. Projects at this REU will concern:

- Total domination in trees
- Redundant domination in trees
- Combinatorial free resolutions
- Boundary control theory for Partial Differential Equations

Applications are being taken now with the review period beginning after Tuesday, May 12. This program is open to all interested Math majors, and women, members of the LGBTQ community, and members of underrepresented minority groups are especially encouraged to apply. You can apply here.
