Apply Now: NASA Summer 2022 Internships
NASA Summer 2022 Internship applications are now being accepted! NASA internships and fellowships leverage NASA’s unique missions and programs to enhance and increase the capability, diversity and size of the nation’s future science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) workforce. Internships provide students with the opportunity to participate in either research or other experiential learning, under the guidance of a mentor at NASA.
NOTE: Early Spring 2022, the agency will review the status of in person internships for the Summer session. Until further agency notice, we are moving with the assumption that Summer internships will be held remotely. However, if they are held in person, please be aware that government Covid-19 vaccine and testing protocols must be followed. Please consider submitting your application as soon as possible as some NASA Centers will make internship placements months before the deadline.
Funding from the NASA Nebraska Space Grant may be available for higher education students’ Summer 2022 NASA Internships, if selected.
There are two steps for students to apply:
1. Complete the NASA Internship application through the NASA system at https://intern.nasa.gov.
2. Complete the Nebraska Student Internship Application through the InfoReady Review Portal at https://nespacegrant.infoready4.com/.
