Spring 2023 Math Directed Reading Program (DRP)
Have you ever wished you could study a specific topic in mathematics, but cannot find a course that does so? Are you interested in learning what else is out there in mathematics?
If so, the Math Directed Reading Program, henceforth DRP, is the perfect opportunity to do so! The DRP began in 2019, and pairs undergraduate students with graduate students to work on a topic of interest to both - typically something not covered in the standard UNL mathematics classes offered. A number of successful projects have been completed throughout the years, in areas such as mathematical biology, analysis, discrete mathematics, and abstract algebra.
The DRP is currently accepting applications for Spring 2023! For more information, including project descriptions, expectations, and how to apply, please visit: https://github.com/drp-unl/drp-unl.github.io/wiki.
If you have any questions, please contact one of the organizers: Molly (mcreagar2@huskers.unl.edu) or Sara (smcknight4@huskers.unl.edu).
