Participants will learn about essential topics such as research resources, stress management, classroom communication, and academic integrity. These workshops are also great opportunities to network with other international students and create a peer support system at UNL. All international students are welcome to participate in these interactive and informative workshops.
The first of these workshop series is Understanding the American Classroom and Cultural Adjustment: This workshop will educate students on how to adjust to the American classroom and society. It will help students learn about some cultural pitfalls and ways to deal with them as they get used to their new surroundings. Lunch will be provided. RSVP is required.
