Nebraska Alumni Association Scholarships
The Nebraska Alumni Association is proud to honor promising students with five awards and scholarships each year. Applications for student awards are accepted until February 11th. Shane Osborn Award/Scholarship
For students who demonstrate courage and integrity in their daily life. The award is named for Lt. Shane J. Osborn (’96), a UNL Naval ROTC graduate who was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross by the U.S. Navy.
Howard and Judy Vann Student Leadership Award/Scholarship
Eligible students must have junior standing or higher and show leadership capabilities through student activities, classroom excellence and personal integrity.
Roy and Catherine Yaley Student Leadership Award/Scholarship
To a student who has made significant contributions of their time, talent and leadership to the Nebraska Alumni Association.
Jack and Sharon Miller Scholarship
To a member of the Nebraska Student Alumni Association who has demonstrated leadership in and commitment to the SAA.
Charlotte Kramer Foreign Study Scholarship
To a student to use on a study abroad program sponsored by or for credit by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Award and scholarship recipients will be chosen by a selection committee, and winning students will be awarded these honors during the spring semester.
