The Department of English is offering two ACE 7 Film Studies courses for the Spring 2019 semester.
Dr. Wheeler Dixon will be teaching ENGL 219: Film Genre, which will focus on theme of 1960s Cool in Cinema.
Dr. Gwendolyn Audrey Foster will be teaching ENGL 239: Film Directors, which will focus on the theme of "Why women love horror and suspense films".
Both of these courses will require weekly film screenings, and Dr. Dixon describes the courses as being based on attendance and writing assignments. These courses will be a very different experience from the average ACE 7 lecture course.
