A review of the MTEP monograph was published in the June 7, 2024 issue of the Canadian Journal of Science, Mathematics and Technology Education.

The monograph The Mathematics Teacher Education Partnership: The Power of a Networked Improvement Community to Transform Secondary Mathematics Teacher Preparation was edited by current and former MTEP 2.0 leaders W. Gary Martin, Brian R. Lawler, Alyson E. Lischka, and Wendy M. Smith for the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators Professional Book Series. It provides an overview of a body of work conducted over seven years related to the preparation of secondary mathematics teachers by MTEP.

"This resource is essential for advancing the field of secondary mathematics teacher preparation," writes author Rugaya Tuanaya in their review.

Tuanaya also highlights the monograph's overview of successful approaches for research action clusture initiatives, insights offered to educators and policymakers, valuable considerations for research design with respect to the networked improvement community model, and applicability to efforts to align programs with the AMTE Standards for Preparing Teachers of Mathematics.
