The 2026 MTEP Conference will be held as a preconference to the 2026 AMTE Conference in Portland, Oregon. MTEP will also host an extended networking breakfast on Saturday, February 7, during the AMTE Conference. The purpose of the MTEP conference is to build understanding of and engagement in the MTEP 2.0 network in its goal to transform secondary mathematics teacher preparation programs in alignment with the AMTE Standards. In addition, the preconference will be co-hosted by ESTEEM, and include sessions focusing on data science as well as secondary mathematics teacher preparation.
The schedule of events tentatively includes:
- MTEP-ESTEEM Preconference, Wednesday, Feb. 4, beginning at 9:00 a.m. PST.
- NOTE: A Call for Proposals to share your MTEP and/or data science work will be circulated in the coming weeks!
- Networking Breakfast, Saturday, Feb. 7, beginning at 7:00 a.m. EST.
