The university's Family Weekend is a celebratory event reconnecting Huskers with their family and friends to share their new memories, experiences, and discoveries since arriving at college. This year’s activities will take place October 2 & 3.
For the first time ever, Family Weekend is 100% virtual and Huskers and families from across the globe can connect with festivities and activities. A part of the planned entertainment will showcase student-created TikTok videos during breaks in the Family Feud - Husker Edition game on October 3.
All students are invited to create their own TikTok video displaying their life as a Husker, the best UNL moments, or a tour of favorite campus spots.
How to enter your video:
1. Use TikTok to create a Husker experience video.
2. Tag the video #huskerfamilyweekend2020
3. Videos must be posted & tagged by 12 p.m. (CST) September 30.
Huskers and their families will vote for their favorite videos October 1-2; the top videos will show during the Family Feud -Husker Edition game on October 3.
