Say “BOO” to the flu by getting your free flu shot at an October student flu shot clinic provided by the University Health Center.

City Campus clinics will be offered every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in October, beginning Oct. 7, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. New this year, City Campus clinics will be held inside the Campus Recreation Center to allow more space for social distancing. The East Campus clinic will be held Tuesday, Oct. 13 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Nebraska East Union. Click here for the full student flu shot clinic schedule.

For the safety of students and clinic staff, you must pre-register to attend a student flu shot clinic. Click here to register.

Bring the following items with you to the student flu shot clinic:

Parental permission is required for students who are 18 or younger to receive their flu shot. Health center staff can call a parent or guardian at check in or, if you are 18 years old, you may bring a completed Power of Attorney form with you to your appointment. If you already have a Power of Attorney form on file at the health center, there is no need to submit a duplicate form. Power of Attorney forms are not valid for 17-year-olds. If you are 17, we must call a parent or guardian for permission to give you a flu shot at the time of check in.

If the student flu shot clinics do not work with your schedule or if you are ready to get your flu shot now, make an appointment at the health center. Flu shot appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 402.472.5000 to schedule. For the safety of patients and staff, we require you to schedule an appointment in advance of your visit. Walk-ins will not be allowed this year.
