NIGHT OF LISTENING: Gain knowledge about ballot initiatives and provisional ballots

Huskers and community members are invited to attend and participate in this season's final Night of Listening: A Lincoln Community Town Hall at 7 p.m., Nov. 2, in the Nebraska Union Swanson Auditorium.

You also can follow and interact with the event remotely via on Facebook Live.

Attendees will learn from nonpartisan organizations about how to decode the ballot and learn about the roles and responsibilities of elected officials on ballots in the 2022 election in Nebraska, which takes place Nov. 8.

Huskers can gain information about provisional ballots and learn how they can serve as poll workers or election observers on election day.

Ken Bartling, Huskers Vote Coalition

Each organization's representative will speak for a short time before opening the floor to students and community members for questions and to share their stories.

Attendees can submit questions in advance for speakers to address at the live event.

Night of Listening is hosted by the Huskers Vote Coalition and Lincoln Get Out the Vote Coalition.
