Has your RSO ever wanted to host a campus-wide event, but you didn’t have the financial resources to make it happen? Well, Pitch a Program might be able to solve your problem. Made possible by a generous grant from Union Bank & Trust and sponsored by Student Involvement, Pitch a Program is Nebraska’s version of Shark Tank event style. RSOs will have a shot at being awarded up to $10,000 for their event while presenting their idea before a live audience and panel of judges.
Details regarding the event can be found at http://involved.unl.edu/pitch-program. Applications are found in NvolveU 2.0 and are due on Monday, October 23 at noon. All submissions will be reviewed and a group of semi-finalists will be invited to be interviewed on Friday, October 27 between 2-6pm. From there a group of finalists will be selected to pitch their program idea to a panel of judges and the audience on Wednesday, November 1 at 7:30pm in the Nebraska Union.
Questions can be directed to Veronica Riepe, Director of Student Involvement at vriepe2@unl.edu or 402-472-2454.
