Beat the summer heat with OLLI indoor summer golf and indoor summer pickleball. Both will take place at the UNL East Campus Rec Center, 1717 N. 35th St. Register online or by telephone.

Indoor Summer Golf League

Play Torrey Pines, St. Andrews, or other notable golf courses. The East Campus Rec Center at UNL has installed a “golf simulator.” This allows people to play different “simulated” courses without having to walk or battle those Nebraska winds. And it’s also in an air conditioned facility. Come join a five- week Indoor Golf League and play 9 holes. Please bring your own clubs and golf balls. This golf league is limited to 9 players. The weekly schedule will be sent once registration is complete. Registration deadline for this offering is Monday, May 21.

Indoor Summer Pickleball League

Be active and stay cool, participating in a summer pickleball league in the comfort of an air conditioned gym. This is a “doubles” league. Find a partner, or have us assign one to you. Each individual must register. This will be limited to 8 teams (16 individuals) who have some experience playing the game. A round-robin 7-week schedule will be created and sent to all participants once registration is complete. Registration deadline for this offering is Monday, May 21. Please email bmichl2@unl.edu if you would need equipment as UNL Campus Rec does have some available for use.
