UNL research study on hearing loss

The Amplification and Perception Laboratory at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is looking for study volunteers. The purpose of the study is to examine your ability to hear acoustic cues in speech, with the goal of improving outcomes for adults with hearing loss.

You may be eligible if:
1. You are over the age of 19 years old with or without hearing loss
2. Speak English as your primary language

This study involves:
• A test of your hearing.
• You listening for certain sounds and indicating when you hear them.
• You will be compensated $15/hour.
• A total of 2-4 hours, scheduled over the course of one to two visits to our laboratory on the East Campus.
