Employers are looking for your student and will be participating in upcoming on-campus events to connect with them. Whether your student is seeking a summer internship, a full-time position, or exploring careers, encourage them to take advantage of these opportunities:
- Resumania held Wednesday, February 5, from 1 to 4 p.m., in the Nebraska Union, is an event where students can have their resume reviewed by an employer or a Career Coach.
- University Career Fairs are a place to meet recruiters from over 100 organizations.
- Day 1: Tuesday, February 11, from 1 to 5 p.m., in the Nebraska Union
Opportunities within Business, Social and Human Services, Agricultural and Natural Resources, Government and Nonprofit - Day 2: Wednesday, February 12, from 1 to 5 p.m., in the Nebraska Union
Opportunities within Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics
- Day 1: Tuesday, February 11, from 1 to 5 p.m., in the Nebraska Union
- Register to attend the University Career Fair through Handshake (https://its.unl.edu/myunl).
- Download the new Career Fair Plus App where they will find a list of participating employers, their specific location at the fair and information on their opportunities and organization.
- Apply for positions posted through Handshake (https://its.unl.edu/myunl).
- Work with a Career Coach to prepare a personal introduction, identify employers of interest and develop networking strategies. Appointments are available through MyPlan under Career Development on their My Success Network page.
