Living On Campus Contributes To Student Success
It is time to talk with your student about living options for the 2015-16 academic year. Here are a few factors from two recent UNL studies about on-campus living for you to consider:
• Successful UNL students tend to live on campus, work approximately 15 hours a week and are involved on campus.
• The longer students lived in the residence halls the more likely they were to graduate and have a higher GPA.
• Residence hall living offers professional staff support and guidance.
University Housing is committed to your student’s academic success. Study Stops are available to all students living in UNL residence halls. Study Stops provide free tutoring and are held in the residence hall facilities, CY Thompson Library and the Gaughan Center. More information at: http://success.unl.edu.
