Have you ever been welcomed to a new place for six weeks? Big Red Welcome at the University of Nebraska aims to do just that! Beginning August 18, university departments and student organizations hosted welcome events for all students — and there are more events to come.
Upcoming events include a workshop on exploring majors and careers, the annual OASIS Stroll Off competition, a free ice skating night, swing dance lessons and more. These activities are a great way to get to know new classmates or new roommates. Encourage your student to make plans to attend events.
