The University of Nebraska-Lincoln offers a text message notification system for students. The UNL Alert system is designed to provide good information so students can make smart decisions in the event of an emergency. The university police department also uses alerts for weather-related closings.
Alerts are just for students, faculty and staff. (You must have a UNL log in to sign up for UNL Alert.)
Parents are encouraged to stay in touch by following the university’s social media accounts and website which post the same information.
