Nebraska State Senator Lynne Walz is looking for a couple interns for the upcoming legislative session. Students who are interested in working in an exciting environment dealing with public policy would be a perfect fit. Responsibilities included in this position are legislative research, office management, and drafting of social media posts and speeches. It is an unpaid internship, and interns would be expected to work roughly 10 hours a week. The internship would be starting on January 5th and last until April 20th.
Senator Walz is the chair of the Education Committee in the Nebraska Legislature, which would allow students interning for our office to experience a unique opportunity relating to education policy in Nebraska.
