The Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands is looking to fill two permanent archaeologist/archaeologist trainee positions (GS-0193-07/09) through this hiring event. Archaeologists may spend their time working outdoors or in an office conducting studies of culture resources in areas where Forest Service projects are proposed to start. Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands manages land in both South Dakota and Nebraska. We encourage any applicant interested in cultural resource management, archaeological field work, and/or Great Plains archaeology and history to apply to these positions.
