Drought center, CALMIT help launch latest drought monitoring and forecast products utilizing NASA satellite observations

Thanks to help from two centers located in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln School of Natural Resources, information from the NASA GRACE-FO satellites is being used to produce and share first-of-its-kind global soil and groundwater moisture maps, as well as wet and dry condition U.S. forecasts.
