Each year, the group honors individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to fish and wildlife conservation in Nebraska.
People or organizations can be nominated in a number of categories from environmental education to wildlife professionals. There are even awards in the category of wildlife art and youth conservation. Submit nominations using the form posted on the federation's website at http://www.nebraskawildlife.org. Nominations can also be sent by mail to Conservation Awards, PO Box 81437, Lincoln, NE 68501. Include a letter explaining why your nominee is deserving of the award or complete the nomination form mentioned above.
The federation will meet October 24th for their awards dinner, announcement of the conservation award recipients and a fundraiser auction at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park near Ashland, NE.
