As part of the Women’s History Month celebration in March, the Chancellor’s Commission on the Status of Women selects and recognizes women who are nominated for going above and beyond in their office/service roles at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

Selected nominees are featured in Nebraska Today and receive a certificate of appreciation for their service to the university community.

This year’s nominees were also invited to attend “The Power of Husker Women: A Night of Celebration” event at the AKRS Champions Club, where they were recognized. This event was co-sponsored by the Nebraska Women’s Leadership Network and the Chancellor’s Commission on the Status of Women. The event also featured a panel of alumnae including Olympic gold medalist Jordan Larson, Dean Tiffany Heng-Moss, and Katie Nieland.
