The Fall 2022 semester of Strive to Thrive Lincoln was successful thanks to 44 class members' efforts, along with the support of multiple members of the Lincoln community and College of Business.

This semester's class developed the following mission statement to guide the grant process:

Strive to Thrive Lincoln provides Nebraska Business students in the Management 411 class with the opportunity to grant funds to organizations that will foster long-term generational change in underrepresented Lincoln/Lancaster County families and individuals by providing them with developmental resources.

You may wonder why you haven't heard about Strive to Thrive Lincoln for a year. You have not missed anything! The class was not offered in the Spring 2022 semester, as Professor Amber Messersmith was abroad. For those that have taken the class, you understand that this is not a class that would work particularly well online, as the in-person experiences and conversations are paramount.
