Academic Technologies has announced the East Campus Exam Commons will open on Jan. 25 with the start of the spring semester. The EC2 will be located in room 005 on the lower level of the Dinsdale Family Learning Commons. The satellite location has 36 computer stations for testing, though this number will be reduced this semester to accommodate social distancing.
The EC2 will be a location option for students to select when booking their testing timeslot as long as space is available, making it easy to choose a location that is most convenient for them.
Instructors will not need to check a box or do anything differently to allow their students the flexibility of testing at this new location. Since it will follow the same policies and workflow as the city campus location, the EC2 will automatically be included as a location option for all exam requests.
