The Center for Transformative Teaching will host three workshops before the regular spring semester begins.
On Jan. 11, Striving for Equity in Education will teach participants how to review their teaching materials through a lens of inclusivity. Attendees will also learn principles and strategies of inclusive teaching.
Finding Your Why on Jan. 12 will focus on helping teachers write or revise their teaching philosophy statement.
A half-day session, Course Mapping on Jan. 13, will walk participants through the backward design process from writing course goals to brainstorming effective learning experiences.
