UNL's 2023 Teaching and Learning Symposium will focus on emerging pedagogies in higher education. Faculty, graduate students, and staff are welcome at the event on Nov. 17, which will be held at the Nebraska East Union.

Recent developments in technology and in society more broadly have created new patterns of behavior and attitudes in both students and instructors. Phenomena such as artificial intelligence and the upsurge in the flow of available data require that we reconsider many of our teaching and learning strategies and methods.

Simultaneously, we all face challenges with mental health and well-being that require us to teach and learn in different ways. The symposium will consider these challenges and changes through the direct experience of instructors, staff, and students at UNL.

Registration is available online.
