The Center for Transformative Teaching, Engineering and Computing Education Core, and College of Business Teaching and Learning Center will jointly present a workshop series for the first time. Sessions will cover artificial intelligence, accessibility, and high-enrollment courses. José Antonio Bowen will be the guest speaker for the Teaching with AI session.
Registration is open and anyone with an interest in teaching and learning may attend.
“We’re thrilled to have José join us. He’s a major figure in the field, and his insights will be valuable to anyone with an interest in AI and how it affects our students. We’re especially looking forward to his hands-on workshop style. Attendees will actively practice his strategies during the session, ensuring they leave equipped to apply them in their own classrooms right away,” said Kasey Linde, Director of Teaching, Learning, and Accreditation in the College of Business Teaching and Learning Center.
"Great teaching doesn’t happen in isolation, it grows through connection, collaboration, and shared insight. Combining practical tips and suggestions and research-based teaching strategies, our joint program reflects our shared commitment to supporting faculty and advancing UNL’s mission to foster high-quality, student-centered teaching,” said Tareq Daher, Director of the Engineering and Computing Education Core.
