
University Libraries has expanded and added new resources in its sciences, social sciences, and humanities collections. These resources support teaching, learning, student engagement, and research methodology training.
Many of these resources were considered for purchase in response to faculty requests and usage data. Any UNL affiliate may make a request to purchase books, videos, journals, databases, and more.
Bloomsbury – Access to all backlist titles in three collections has been added: African Studies and International Development; Environment and Climate Change; and Gender and Sexuality Studies for at least one full 12-month period (through Feb. 23, 2027) on the Bloomsbury Collections platform. New titles in these collections will be made available via open access as they are published.
JSTOR – New collections have been added to UNL's JSTOR subscription: Business IV; Hebrew Journals; Ireland; Lives of Literature; Public Health; Security Studies; Sustainability; Struggles for Freedom: Southern Africa; and World Heritage Sites: Africa.
Sage Research Methods – New content modules have been added to the Sage Research Methods platform: Cases: Medicine and Health; Doing Research Online; Core SRM video collection; and Doing Survey Research videos.
Sage Skills – UNL has access to Sage Skills resources for developing professional skills in business, including interactive scenarios, self-assessments, downloadable datasets, worksheets, and original videos through the following modules of this collection: Data Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Organizational Communication, and Professionalism.
