First-Year Experience and Transition Programs wants to partner with you to support your students UNL academic experience. Your students can take advantage of one-on-one academic coaching, academic success workshops, and Study Stops across campus – free to all UNL students.

Academic Success Coaches work with students on areas such as time management, goal setting, transition to college, and how to make the most of the college experience. Students can schedule a one-on-one session with an Academic Success Coach through MyPLAN located on Blackboard.

First-Year Experience and Transition Programs also offers success workshops on topics such as exam preparation, reading strategies, effective note taking and more! Workshops are held weekly in Love South Library and across campus. No pre-registration is required.

Study Stops provide individual and group study in a coffee house setting Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Learning consultants and tutors from a variety of academic areas are on hand to provide free advice and academic support. No appointments are necessary—just drop on by.
