On April 21 the African Student Association is holding a fundraiser to support an important project that has helped feed dozens of villages in Sudan's Nuba Mountains and will continue to with your help.
The event is from 6:30 to 9:30 at the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center. Tickets for students are $3, and $7 for non-students at the door.
There will be live music performed by Chance Preston (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRjWFEk4spg) and Younis Andindi, a silent auction of chic, authentic African art and merchandise (http://www.flickr.com/photos/asafundraiser/6931138200/in/photostream), food and a presentation from Younis Andindi, who spearheaded the project in 2008.
