Katz to discuss politics of still life paintings Feb. 1

Wendy Katz, associate professor of art and art history, will give a talk focusing on nationalism and politics manifested in 19th century still life paintings at 5:30 p.m., Feb. 1 in the Sheldon Museum of Art.

The talk is in conjunction with "Poetical Fire," the Sheldon's still life exhibition.

The event is free and open to the public
