Bill Felber will read from and discuss his book "Under Pallor Under Shadow: The 1920s American League Pennant Race that Rattled and Rebuilt Baseball" at 7 p.m, April 13 in the University Bookstore. A book signing will follow. The event is free and open to the public.
Felber is the executive editor of The Manhattan Mercury, the daily newspaper of Manhattan, Kan. A Chicago native, he is also the author of "125 Years of Professional Baseball," "The Horses in War," "The Book on the Book" and "A Game of Brawl."
