Research Fair focuses on food, water and energy

The UNL Research Fair continues today with the Food, Water and Energy Resources Policy Symposium, a continuing discussion on a major interdisciplinary research initiative.

Featured presentations include Shenggen Fan of the International Food Policy Research Institute, at 8:45 a.m.; a speed networking session at 10 a.m.; Kathie L. Olsen of ScienceWorks LLC, at 3:15 p.m.; and Stan Johnson of the National Center for Food and Agricultural Policy at 4 p.m.

The symposium at the East Union is co-sponsored by the Office of the Chancellor, Office of Research and Economic Development, Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and Office of Academic Affairs.

Research Fair events at the Nebraska Union include the Graduate Student Poster Session and reception from 3-5 p.m. and “Planning and Preparing for Graduate School: A Workshop for Undergraduates” at 5 p.m. with Richard Lombardo of UNL’s Office of Postdoctoral Studies.
