On April 8, offices across campus including CAST, the Military and Veteran Success Center (MVSC), and Student Leadership, Involvement, & Community Engagement (SLICE) came together for Transfer Appreciation Day.
Our goal was simple: recognize our transfer students and make space for connection.
Transfer students are a vital part of the UNL community, and this event was one way to acknowledge the experiences, perspectives, and contributions you bring to campus.
We’re so glad to have you as part our Husker community. While you’re away from campus this summer, we’ll be continuing to develop new ways to support and engage transfer students throughout the year.
P.S. Keep an eye out for National Transfer Student Week in October 2026 – we’ll continue creating opportunities to build community and celebrate our transfer student community.
