“As President Carter stated, ‘Unique challenges require unique solutions.’ COVID-19 has brought significant challenges to each one of us, our operations, our community and our country,” said Martha Mamo, Head of the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture. “The department appreciates the continued efforts of each department member in following safety and health guidelines. We know it is not, and will not, be business as usual for some time, but we will continue to move forward with resolve.”

Mamo said she is proud of the Agronomy and Horticulture teachers and support staff who have worked hard to transition into online teaching which started March 30. A special thanks goes to TJ McAndrew and Mike Livingston who are doing so much behind the scenes to support the continuity of the department’s operations.

The online reservation system has been modified so that East Campus vehicle pick up can only be selected, 7:30–9:30 a.m., Monday–Friday. (Vehicles can be picked up at other times at the main motor pool.) For dispatch, a service attendant will be on-site at 7:30–9:30 a.m. each day.
