Lawrence W. and Francis W. Cox Scholarship

Eligible: Any ASCE Student Member in good standing who is registered as an undergraduate in an ABET-accredited or equivalent program in civil engineering, equivalent program in civil engineering, or related field.

Award: Award is for undergraduate tuition. One scholarship awarded annually.

Eugene C. Figg, Jr. Civil Engineering Scholarship

Eligible: Any ASCE Student Member in good standing who is registered as an undergraduate in an ABET-accredited or equivalent program in the fall term of the year of the award, has a passion for bridges, and holds U.S. citizenship.

Award: Award is for undergraduate tuition. One award is presented annually. Opportunity to interview for an internship with Figg Engineering Group is included as part of the award.

John Lenard Civil Engineering Scholarship

Eligible: Any ASCE Student Member in good standing who is registered as an undergraduate in an ABET-accredited or equivalent program in the fall term of the year of the award, has demonstrated a commitment to either water supply or environmental engineering.

Award: Award is for undergraduate tuition. Two scholarships awarded annually.

Robert B. B. and Josephine N. Moorman Civil Engineering Scholarship

Eligible: Any ASCE Student Member in good standing who is registered as an undergraduate in an ABET-accredited or equivalent program in civil engineering.

Award: Award is for undergraduate tuition. One scholarship awarded annually.

Samuel Fletcher Tapman ASCE Student Chapter Scholarship

Eligible: Any ASCE Student Member in good standing who is registered as an undergraduate in an ABET-accredited or equivalent program in civil engineering or related field in the fall term of the year of the award and is a member of his/her local ASCE student chapter. No more than one application may be submitted from the membership of any one Student Chapter.

Award: Award is for undergraduate tuition. Approximately 12 scholarships awarded annually.

B. Charles Tiney Memorial ASCE Student Chapter Scholarship

Eligible: Any ASCE Student Member in good standing who is registered as an undergraduate in an ABET-accredited or equivalent program in civil engineering or related field in the fall term of the year of award and is a member of his/her local ASCE student chapter.

Award: Award is for undergraduate tuition. One scholarship awarded annually.

Y.C. Yang Civil Engineering Scholarship

Eligible: Any ASCE Student Member in good standing who is registered as an undergraduate in an ABET-accredited or equivalent program in civil engineering or related field in the fall term of the year of award and is a member of his/her local ASCE student chapter. Applicants must express an interest in structural engineering

Award: Award is for undergraduate tuition. Two scholarships awarded annually.

ASCE SOCIETY FELLOWSHIPS

Society Fellowships assist with graduate tuition fees, are awarded annually and require ASCE membership. For further details and downloadable forms visit http://www.asce.org/ASCE_Fellowships/

O.H. Ammann Research Fellowship in Structural Engineering

Eligible: Any ASCE member in good standing. For those applying for membership, your membership application can be submitted as part of the fellowship package.

Grant: For the purpose of encouraging the creation of new knowledge in the field of structural design and construction. Evidence must be shown throughout the application that the recipient has the ability to conceive and explore original ideas in the field of structural engineering.

Award: Award is for tuition, research, and living expenses. One fellowship awarded annually.

Applications must be received no later than November 1, 2022

Trent R. Dames and William W. Moore Fellowship

Eligible: Practicing engineers or earth scientists, professors or graduate students, who are ASCE members in good standing.

Grant: For the exploration of new applications of geotechnical engineering or the earth sciences to social, economic, environmental, and political issues.

Award: Award is for tuition, research, and living expenses. Up to two fellowships awarded annually.

Applications must be received no later than February 10, 2023.

Freeman Fellowship

Eligible: Any ASCE member in good standing.

Grant: Made toward expenses for experiments, observations, and compilations to discover new and accurate data useful in engineering. Emphasis on hydraulic science and art.

Award: Award is for tuition, research, and living expenses. Up to three fellowships awarded annually.

Applications must be received no later than February 10, 2023.

J. Waldo Smith Hydraulic Fellowship

Eligible: Any ASCE graduate student in good standing, preferably an Associate Member of ASCE.

Grant: Made toward research in the field of experimental hydraulics.

Award: Award is for tuition, research, and living expenses. Up to two fellowships awarded annually.

Applications must be received no later than February 10, 2023.

Arthur S. Tuttle Memorial Fellowship

Eligible: Any ASCE member in good standing; undergraduates should apply during their senior year.

Award: Award is for tuition expenses for first year civil engineering graduate students. Up to four fellowships awarded annually.

Applications must be received no later than February 10, 2023.
